Unique ¼¤Çé¿ì²¥ benefit for employees with children and future education aspirations

Alaska 529 would like to remind ¼¤Çé¿ì²¥ employees that NOW is a great time to start, review, or increase your education savings contributions for a loved one. 

¼¤Çé¿ì²¥ employees with college-aged children, and/or with a desire to attain their own degree, are able to supplement the ¼¤Çé¿ì²¥ Employee Tuition Waiver with money saved in a tax-advantaged Alaska 529 account. ¼¤Çé¿ì²¥ employees have the added ease of making contributions directly from a paycheck through payroll deduction or direct deposit. To participate:

1. Open an account, and
2. Complete and return the payroll deduction form, or 
3. Complete and return the form, or call 1-800-478-0003 to receive a unique routing and account number and add Alaska 529 as one of your direct deposit options. 

Alaska 529 is offered by the . It was established by the University of Alaska in 2001 with a goal of helping residents prepare for education expenses. This month marks the trust’s 20th year of providing low cost, high quality investment options for participants.
